Which advertisements do you think are better/more appealing to you as a consumer?? Which is more convincing to you and why? Only choose between products that you are not involved in. Make a legitimate argument to get full credit.
Nike basketball shoes or Adidas Basketball shoes
Dell computers or HP computers or Mac computers
AT&T or Verizon Wireless
Under Armour or Nike clothing
neither nike or adidas basketball shoes are interesting to me cause one i dont play basketball, and two i dont were basketball shoes. the dell computer would interest me more then the HP computer from experience of both computers. nike clothing would interest me more then under armour.

ReplyDeleteI really like nike shoes because i've always gotten nikes and adidas always look the same, i have both brands of shoes, and they are both really good. I'd take a mac or dell computer because they look cooler, and seem to be a better quality but who knows? i don't really have nike or underarmour clothing, but i would guess that they are both pretty good? i'd probably say the underarmour just cuz it's pretty cool? i guess haha i really don't know.

ReplyDeleteBattle 1: Adidas and Nike shoes: I like Adidas because they gave great examples and it just sucked me into their product. I LOVED IT!!!
ReplyDeleteBattle 2: Dell HP and MAC: MAC, because they didnt go on bashing other groups. HP did know what they were talking about though. MAC wins it in a close one.
Battle 3: AT&T and Verizon: Verizon, they gave good hard stone cold facts and didnt bash the other team. AT&T had good stuff but verizon wins, more facts.
I picked nike basketball shoes, because i have always gotten nike basketball shoes. They both had pretty good arguements. Adidas shoes had a good presentation. For the computers arguement i would have to pick Mac because they had a good ad, its price was higher but its probably better quality. I would also pick underarmour because they had a pretty appealing ad, but i like both nike and underarmour.
ReplyDeleteIm putting my money towards the Adidas shoes. Casey knows how to sell. Verizon is the way to go. I have Verizon & it works for me. Theres no service in my area so i like Verizon. Im going with Under Armor. Ive purchased many Under Armor clothing items & they have worked for me.

ReplyDeletei'd say the addidas would have to take the cake on that one. They have many features to their shoes like the addidry technology. That is just fancy stuff. Definately at&t on the second one because i like that they have the best coverage in america and also they have the ipad, while all verizon has is the droid. They also have a terrible sales rep. I think the nike clothing had a much better arguement as well. Nike is definately better.

ReplyDeleteAdidas totally won that. They have quite a bit more information. Nike had a nice shoe, but it didn't have as much info.
HP (Fisch and Miranda), Dell (Brady and Travis), and Macbook (Bertsch and Emily)
Dell is doing well. They have some good information. Macbook has a lot of great features and HP seems to be struggling a little. MAcbook has this in the big. Thery have great information.
AT&T (Dillion and Codey) VS. Verizon (Taylor and Jon)
Verizon has a lot of good information. They really looked up good facts. Verizon is doing well. I liked there information.
I like Nike shoes better! I feel like they have a wider selection and Adidas shoes all look the same. I don't buy basketball shoes but I would much rather buy Nike shoes. Nike also had the better looking advertisement! Very nice! But, Adidas had a very good rebuttle!
ReplyDeleteOn the contrary, I prefer Under Armour clothing. I like their sweatshirts and sweatpants and they also have a wide selection of clothes. They also had a very nice ad! That was the best debate I have ever seen! Props to both sides for having a good rebuttle. That was GREAT! :)
I guess I prefer Verizon Wireless since that is the company that I use. I have never had a problem with Verizon and I think they are working really hard to expand the area that they cover and also by getting new products such as the iPhone. Their ad was also very good with many facts!
The best computer, I thought, was Mac because they had the most information. They were able to find ways they were better than the other groups, while the Dell group was only better than the HP. I thought that Verizon was better for a couple reasons. I have a Verizon phone already. The AT&T group also only had rollover minutes and not any other features compared to Verizon. Their ad was more appealing to me, though, because it was colorful and caught your attention. The Under Armour ad was very appealing and professional looking! The Nike background was cool but the whole "made with the finest cotton this side of the galaxy" didn't really make sense. Under Armour was more convincing but Nike was funny. But I gotta go with UA because I have a lot of their clothes and love them. Good work everyone!
ReplyDeleteI would pick the adidas basketball shoes because i do not like hot sweaty feet and i have had them in the past and i like them. The adidas shoes are also cheaper witch is good. I would buy the dell just because of my personal experience with dell and it would be cheaper then mac and can run more programs on dell. I would pick at&t over verizon right now because they seem to be running some pretty good offers and i have had verizon and they seem good enough i would be willing to try something new.
ReplyDeleteI had my money on Adidas as they cleary had a better job of presenting. They dominated nike. As for the computers they all did a good job of pointing out flaws in other computers, yet not a very good one in describing their own strengths as well. As for At&T and Verizon I pick Verizon as they are the largest wireless company and have superior qualities.

I think that I am most impressed by the Mac computeres. There are many features that the other computers do not have. I think that it is also nice that you are now able to get Microsoft Office on them.

I really am still going to have to go with Under Armour. I feel like Under Armour had more facts and gave more related information to the product than Nike did give.
Being as I hate our HP computers, I'm going to have to go with Mac after Andy's informative rebuttal. They're ad was also better looking. I also like Verizon because first off I have that and I get better service. For clothing between Under Armour and Nike, I don't know I think they're both good. But I don't need compression shorts (Under Armour). I'll just go with Nike- I have more stuff from there. They both had an interesting debate...
ReplyDeleteI'm going to have to say adidas had much better quality and would be more fit for personal use. I also like Verizon more because they get better coverage, quality, and it's cheap. Under Armour definately beat Nike too because Chris had nothing to go with with his product whereas Chad had some pretty good information.

ReplyDeleteI think that AT&T was more convincing to me because i happen to have AT&T phone and services. I think that the company has better prices and services rather than verizon. The new At&T phones have rollover mintues would will let people continue to use the minutes they didn't get to use. I think that nike shoes are a way better purchases than adidas. I have wore nike shoes before and they are a better quality shoe. The advertisement for nike was way more interesting than adidas. I think that adidas doesn't make shoe to protect the feet against sweat and injuries. I would rather pay a higher price for a better quality shoe.

Mac won this battle and HP looked really bad when the other groups compared them to the school computers(they suck).
AT&T vs Verizon
Verizon had a lot of good info n stuff.... AT&T didn't know what they were talking about.
I would defenatly get the mac because they had alot of information and a backlit keyboard would be off the chain. I would pick addidas bcause they had alot more information. I would defenatly choose the sweatshirt bc i dont want my junk all up on my leg.

ReplyDeleteI would have to choose a Mac computer. First of all, i would not feel safe buying a $300 computer from Dell. Also, we have HP computers at school and I do not like them at all. I would rather pay some more money and get myself a mac computer.
Well, i have a Verizon phone and I really like it. Nothing that Codey really said changed my mind so i would have to say that Verizon still appeals more to me than Verizon.
As for the Under Armour vs. Nike. I hate Under Armour compression shorts because as Chris said, "they compress your junk," and nobody likes that. I would choose Nike because i just don't like Under Armour compression shorts.
